Thanks everyone who contributed so far, really helpful and thankful for the comments, suggestions and tech/restore tips. I'll find out about that gearbox, look into the steering linage, differential cap and underside of floor panels. And, yes, ngsd, I will luk if i pass on it...i'll luk by Feb 1.

Hopefully they meant it's a kit to fit the First gen Bronco, made with perhaps the old 2wd "long box" that they thought came from a 350 (but probably didn't)?

I just called the guy...that is exactly what it is (i.e the kit for the EB that they thought was from a 350 but isnt)
