fyi, looks like I'm not your buyer after all. But I'd love to have it!

As others have said, Good Luck with your sale.

Thanks for the heads up. I figured as much once you said the top thing on your wish list was an automatic transmission, I knew it probably wouldn't work out.

I hope the best to you in finding the perfect Bronco for your wife.

Very Nice!!!!

Thanks! You have some great Broncos as well!

Original color is the baby blue from 1970 (not sure of the exact name). The engine bay is the original paint and color. Also if you notice the pictures of the floor boards, that is the original paint as well.

It was called Arcadian Blue on the '66, not sure if it's the same color for '70 but I'd assume so, and I've seen several pics of Arcadian Blue rigs on the internet that looked white in certain light

Your Bronco is awesome, and looks like it will be a good deal for someone, I wish I had that kind of money available to buy it myself! Good luck with the sale.

Where did that "1970" (on front) come from? That's cool!

-On a side note, these are cool, who with a plasma or water jet on this site is going to step up and start making these?!? I got dibs on the first "1968" and "1970" that get done. ;D

I have had a couple people with questions about the power steering and power front disc brakes. It has both and they both work perfect.

One person had a question as to what power steering unit I had and if the frame had to be notched for it to fit. I took pictures of the unit, and the frame, and it did not need to get notched when they installed the power steering.

If there are any other requests for pictures please feel free to ask.

Also, thank you for the great offers to trade for some very nice trucks and other interesting vehicles. I am selling to help with a new house down payment so I am not interested in trading currently, but thank you. Besides this Bronco is my dream vehicle :)

A nice project for someone. Just curious, what happened with the spare tire situation? Did they have tailgate mounts in 1970 or was there a swing away?

A nice project for someone, though priced a bit optimistically given the amount of work still needed. Just curious, what happened with the spare tire situation? Did they have tailgate mounts in 1970 or was there a swing away?

If that corner piece of belt line chrome is original it never had the swingaway.

My guess is a bulkhead behind the bench seat was removed.
The spare would have originally been attached to that since the tailgate doesn't
have the inside spare brackets either...

So it started life as a half cab or could there be a bulkhead in a wagon? Not poking at it at all, nice rig, I am just curious because I have never seen this before.

Yes, you could get a bench seat with a bulkhead even in a U15 Wagon.

Some people refer to them as "delivery wagon" or "ranch wagon" right %)

Postal service in the rural areas around here loved those back in the day. Individual carriers supplied their own wheels and a U15 I6 delivery wagon was tops.

This is a U15 rig and the top is original to the truck. I bought a bench seat out of a 1970 U14 Bronco so I could fit all 5 in my family, it had the buckets originally. When I bought this 8 years back it did not have a tire carrier.

When I get back in town I have been requested to get pictures of the vin both glove box and frame, which I will post up here.
