Yup white applied first. Orange didn't stick as well as most groups did however. Why a lot of Bajas "scratch white". I love this BajA too. Sometimes something is lost when they are in this condition and get full resto. Roaches on the other hand....need the love and gain.

Finally got around to cleaning under the battery tray

Andy, what was the primary cleaner for the battery tray area? Mine has a lot of the yellowy substance that's hard to get off.

Baking soda and water mix, maybe? Neutralize battery acid...

Washed with soapy water first then wet sand with 2000 grit on the paint. Then polish with 3M polish.

Battery tray wash, then bead blast to bare metal. Rust inhibitor sprayed on, then paint.
