This is awesome for the Bronco community! A bunch of detailed closeups would be great too! The seatbelt protected carpet fade does say a lot! Quiet possibly no one ever sat in the back seat. The belt may have landed there when the belts were bolted in at the factory and was never moved in 30-40 years.... Crazy!

Think about it... The rings in the engine is not even seated yet! Andrew, you mention the door operation.. think about how few times the doors have even been opened and closed! Shoot!...the wheels on this '73 have only rotated 396,933 times since new!! Original tires! original air in the tires!.... I'm sorry...getting a little crazy... Congrats for sure andyp!!!

Post us up more pictures!

Here's a better picture of the dealer tag and couple more of the seat belts just for fun.

Wow, that thing is amazing. My first Bronco was a 73 Ranger that I bought back in 1980 and it wasn't in that good of shape. ;D

Cool find. Any new car smell survive?

Nope, no new car smell left.

It was stored outside in Missouri. It's in incredible shape considering. Other than some cracks in the dash and carpet fading from sun exposure the interior looks pretty much brand new. The seats were covered during storage fortunately.
I took this picture when we saw the truck before purchase. The floor is clean now.:)

Nicely Done Andy... Is it worth more with the dirt it has collected remaining in place or not?

Can you claim greatest Barn find Bronco?

I remember the radio ads: "Broadway Ford at Thirty Ford and Broadway". Fun play on words, they were at 34th street and Broadway.

Wonderful find, That old girl has been waiting long time for some to take her out and play.

That's really cool. Too bad the dealership is closed. It would have nice to be able to take a pic out front.

Back in 2006 when it was purchased from the original owner and put in a warehouse the new owner cleaned it up so all that dirt is long gone.
He parked it and it didn't move until April of this year.

Here is more from Andrew's report:

"The brake system has been cleaned and wheel cylinders replaced, but are otherwise original. The original wheel
cylinders have been retained in a box for later re-installation if desired.
Besides the fuel tanks having been out for cleaning, the only change from original is that the underside of the truck
was cleaned with an abrasive and sprayed semi-gloss black. The seller told us that the Bronco exhibited some
surface rust from sitting so long at the rental property carport for all the years leading up to his purchase. The
carport he pulled it from had a dirt floor. Tall grass had grown up into the undercarriage causing generally dirty
conditions. All axle tags are present, and the underside shows no current signs of rust or rust pitting."

Awesome truck Andy, congrats!
Better add this thread to the lowest mileage Bronco thread for reference.
Is it in MO now or CA? I would like to see it some time!

Andy, that thing is INSANE!! Good for you man! Hands down one of the best factory color combo/pkgs. Do you have any old photos of it stored in the family service station?

I took a pic of the radiator yesterday. No bugs, bent fins, it's crazy.
