I just put my 4dr jk up for sale locally to see if I get any bites on it. If I do I'm seriously considering your bronco. Couple questions though, how wide is it and how much does it weigh? Thanks.

It is 84 3/4 wide and she should weight 5100. If you need to know anything
else just let me know.

So are you towing it on a deck over trailer or removing the fenders from a regular width trailer. At this point I'm dreaming until I get someone to buy my jeep but never hurts to know what trailer I would need. Btw what is the height just in case it is not too wide for an enclosed trailer?

I have a 18ft trailer I have modified (drive over fenders). It rides fine.
I also have a redneck toyhauler that I cut the inside fenders out and it fits fine. The rear is axle is 82 so it is possible to haul it backwards.
The height is 78 in with 10 psi in the tires.

So I am apparently recently in the market for a replacement for my long non-running EB. Is this one still on the market? If so, I have a few questions.

1) I know it's a trail rig, but how is the body so far as rust? Are the floors, door posts, rear qtr seams, etc ok? Any pics under the floors? It looks pretty solid. I can deal with the dents, but rust is what's delaying my current project.

2) Is the valve body manual?

3) How is the engine temp on trails?

4) Why the fuel tank in the bed? Just for safety/protection? Is there any reason it couldn’t be put back under the bed if I decided?

The EB seems pretty much how I was picturing building mine before have to make cutbacks and sell off my 1 tons. I even like the fenders cut high.

Sorry I haven't answered these questions publicly. My home computer has been down. (phone internet only this week :( )
1.) It really doesn't have much rust compared to some I've seen. Right rear
quarter (under taillight) has some pin holes. The floors are covered with plate steel and lined with some type of rhinoliner type liner. Looking at the floor from the bottom, I can only find a few pin holes where the floor meets the sides of the tub.
2.)The transmission does have a reverse valve body. Art carr shifter.
3.)The bronco has a 170 thermostat and it runs about 180 most days. On the trail I have an electric cooling fan to help at slow speeds.
4.)The fuel tank is in the bed b/c I mainly use the bronco for rockcrawling and it is safer to have it in that location. A stock tank can easily be reinstalled.
I also have pictures of the rust if anyone is interested.
Thanks
Thomas

Looked at this one over the weekend. Absolute junk. No one should buy this...That way I can finish gathering funds and get it myself.;D

Seriously, it's an awesome rig, very nice owner. A little more than we were hoping to spend, so I'm working on increasing my debt ceiling. Hopefully we can pull it off. Should know soon I hope. I was also informed that if I get it I have to schedule my Fall vacation in September and show up at OCBR. I can do that...

God I need this! Why oh why does this thing have to be clear down in Mississippi? And more importantly, worth more than the Wrangler I need to sell to buy it. I wish someone would buy it soon so I can quit obsessing about how much I need to have it.
