Its time that I start sharing my story/build on my 75-DE Build.
About 17 months ago a fellow co-worker approached my and asked if I new anyone that might be interested in a Bronco, he was clearing out the family cabin getting ready to retire. I asked what year and he thought 70's and that it hasn't been out of the garage in 15 years and before his father pasted away they couldn't get it to run.
Currently I wasn't looking for another project as I have a fully built 87XJ but once he showed me pictures of the Bronco I knew I had to ditch the jeep scene lol.
I told him that if I could afford it I would buy it and sell my XJ and make it my personal rig, he was surprised as he knew the XJ took me 2-3 years to complete. After a few weeks he came back with a price we shook on it and then came the most difficult part telling the wife I wanted to start another car project! I waited several weeks for the right opportunity as it would have been much easier to tell her I've been having an affair. I explained how this was going to be my last project and that's how I came up with the handle Strike2.
I purchased the Bronco not knowing anyone or anything about them and began doing a little research along with joining ColoradoClassicBronco and was quickly educated on the EB history, my plan was to never have a "stock" Bronco despite the rarity of this rig, so for the purist you might not want to follow.
Plans, 302 w/Explorer EFI, 35's, 76-F150 axles, 12" C/O and keeping the Denver Edition paint scheme.
