2.25" Exhaust into 2.5" Mufflers

Looking to take the Bronco out of mothballs for summer. Carbed 302 w/dual exhaust setup using JD long tube headers w/bullet cats on 2.25" system. The mufflers and tailpipes are shot and I have a line on a couple 2.5" mufflers from a '90 Mustang for short money. Any issues stepping up after the cats to the 2.5" mufflers and tailpipes?
