2.5" Flowmaster 50 Series Muffler?

Is anyone running a 50 Series Flowmaster muffler? If so how does it sound? I 'think' I have room if I get creative with my plumbing. I know a 40 series of a super 44 would fit better but I'm looking for just a little quieter than that.

I have two 50 serries on with a dual and the fit no problem. Sometimes I do miss my 40's but when you floor it they open up nice.

I run a single 50 series "SUV". I like it, it's quiet at idle but opens up when you get on the throttle.

Look into the CHERRYBOMB VORTEX muffler. It is 1.5" longer than the 40 series, but has no cruising drone, flows better, less inside noise, nice deep tone out the back of vehicle. Don't be confused by the name this is a muffler.

Here's a link to my experience. I am in the process of changing to the explorer motor with efi so I am not sure what it's going to sound like when I am done. Before I pulled the motor I loved the sound. In my opinion, the only time you get really bad drone is with large pipes and catalytic converters like on late model trucks. I pulled this muffler off my silverado for that exact reason.

With the way I mounted my fuel tank I needed to kick the exhaust out the side. I did that with mandrel bent pieces from summit.

I find the 50's too quiet. I will be changing mine ou to the 40's when they expire if not sooner
