So I originally purchased the Corbeau Fold and Tumble "Safari" seat (found here).

The truck still has ZERO miles on it but I think I may have made a mistake with this purchase... well not a mistake, but I think I would prefer 2 single seats instead of the Bench.

My question is... which Corbeau seats can I buy that will fit back there... I think I have 42" between the tire wells...

I have Baja SS Black Vinyl and cloth up front.

PS. IF you're interested in a Fold and Tumble, let me know... it's still virtually new :)

I have the Corbeau Moab and they are pretty narrow, I think they would fit and may even leave a little room between.

Which Baja? The RS, SS, Ultra? Is there any way you can measure the widest points of the seats? No rush :)

I was thinking about the same thing and I am choosing to go with these:

Besides that they would fit side by side, I like that the sides are straight so that when the two seats are mounted side-by-side, there is not a weird gap in the middle and it would like almost like one large seat in the back. Only problem is no fold and tumble obviously. Though the Moab's are nice too, hmmmm...?

You really only have about 39" or less to play with and most of the buckets are wider than that. Check out the PRP seat and the roadster model, its a high backed seat made for buggies and sandrails. I think they are 19" wide and will likely get you close? Dusty on here has tweaked a few seats by removing the covers and bending the structure to make them work.

Good luck,

Ben

PRP will also build you a bench seat of any width but it won't recline either. I beleive Beard will build you a bench seat at any width as well.

I think this may be the winner!... gotta sell my F/T seat and save a few bucks up to get a couple of these... have you already purchased these? Any pictures of them mounted??

Whoa... wait a sec... why are they so much more expensive than the Baja SS front seats that I have already... am I considering a back seat that's "better" than the front seat!?!?!?! ;D
