2005-2010 Mustang Steering wheel in EB

Anyone done it yet? What column did you have to use or was it a bolt-on?

Drove a 2010 mustang the last two days from a rental agency. Loved the leather steering wheel.

That would be tough. It has a hexagonal boss in the backside of the magnesium frame. You could probably pull the whole column from a wreck, but it's a pretty bulky unit. (I put the original 2005-09 wheel into production a few years back in a previous position here at Ford.)

The 2010 wheel is even nicer than the 05-09

It might look a little silly on a stock Bronco column.

That steering wheel hub is, what, 8-10" across the back? The diameter of the Bronco's column was pretty narrow, even by 1970s standards.

Don't forget you've got an airbag to deal with. those things are car specific and unless you have the bag removed you could get seriously injured if that thing decides to go off.
