I was hoping to get a preliminary roll call on any other PNW members that will be attending the NW Bronco Roundup this August.

I have never been but was considering making the effort to get down there from Seattle with my family this year.

For those who have been in the past, can you summarize the experience, especially with a wife and two young kids? It looks like a beautiful place with some fun events and a lot of cool Broncos. Worth the seven hour drive?? (I'd probably tow our Bronco down vs. driving that entire distance).

Any insight would be great!

Guarantee you will meet a lot of great folks, see new ideas for your bronco and feel like a part of the family

These events are typically well organized by a great group of folks in your area. Others in the area can I'm sure give you better details for attending though

I highly recommend going! That event is the highlight of my year. Lots of fun stuff to do, very family friendly and good people. I am near Tacoma so it is a bit of a drive and in the Bronco it is usually a super hot one! Unfortunately, I have a conflict and won't be able to go this year, but I will be looking at the pictures and wishing I were there.

I am spoiled and only I live 1.5 hour away from the event. With that said, I try to go for at least 1 day of the event each year, but have gone for the entire event the past several years. It's definitely worth going at least once, but can feel repetitive year after year. Always a blast, and always meet new people. Some stay for 2 full weeks as their annual family vacation.

The highlights for me are the new event on thursday (sand drags at private closed course) and the show n shine. I like to geek out over all the small details of each rig. I take photos the whole time to get inspiration and ideas for my own build.

The weather is always hit or miss. When the weather cooperates, it really changes the mood for the wife and I.
