I drove this unit up until I parked it for tear-down less than one month ago.
Running 302: Believed to be original. Miles unknown. Installed brand new Edelbrock 1405 Carb (600 CFM/Manual Choke/Non-EGR/satin finish) and cast iron intake (from a 68/69 Mustang or Cougar by the numbers) one year ago. Has a new Petronix Flamethrower Coil as well as a new mechanical fuel pump. The only parts I need to keep are: power steering pump and brackets, alternator and brackets, starter and air cleaner. This engine started great, didn't blow any smoke or use any oil. Priced by itself: $500.
C4: Pan-fill--believed to be original. Worked great for the year I owned it. Comes with the Adapter and Crossmember. I drained the oil and it was clear and did not smell burnt. Priced by itself: $650. Sold.
D20 Transfer Case: J-shift. Started making a noise when in 4WD. Problem may be with my shifter or internal (I solved a problem previously with a different used shifter). Did not troubleshoot this as I am going with a different TC. Priced by itself: $150. Sold.
Buy it all for $1,500 (saving $150).
Presently these are all mated together but will probably separate them. I thought about steam cleaning these but am concerned about getting water where it shouldn't be. Cooling lines (not included) are removed and I have no way to block these ports off. The trans and TC have the normal years of grime on them.
Shipping is on you. If you want to get rates, the unit will ship from 46809 (a business) and we have a loading dock and a forklift. I drive a lot and can deliver it within a reasonable distance if you are in my territory. From time to time, I go from Fort Wayne North as far as Montague, MI, East as far as Chicago and sometimes up to Grand Rapids. If I can, I'll work with you.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks in advance.
Craig
