Can anyone recommend a source and brand for a good 2 barrel carburetor replacement for my 1977 factory 302? My online search came up with several options but no idea how good some of them are.

dont get the cheap 2100 clones on amazon I've seen two of them on motors. One leaked fuel from top plate gasket and surged at highway speed and the other the air speed screws made no difference in idle quality. They look nice and 100.00 is really tempting. I just got a holley street avenger two barrel with an auto choke. Sure it was 300.00 more but I have run holley carbs since the 80's and have had no problem. Or you could get a old 2100 on ebay or such and either send it off for a refurb or do it yourself.

I found this;https://www.ebay.com/itm/174800798163?hash=item28b2f081d3:g:6b4AAOSwYehgxPlG, one on ebey. It's a '77 2150 made for 302s in good shape for a good price. You really can't beat it for a quality carb. It could use a rebuild and needs cleaning but there's no corrosion. It's as good as it gets for a '77 302. I agree with Doug. You don't want a ChiCom knock off that's not calibrated for a specific engine like the Motorcraft.
