i picked up a 351 GT40 aluminum lower for $350 shipped off the classified section from a mustang Forum a month ago. If you watch the boards you will find a decent price if you want one however i was not in a hurry and was watching for some time :)

yep, it can happen. I looked on craiglist for over a year. found an Lightning upper and lower, fuel rail, injectors and throttle body for $450. It was posted 20 minutes prior to me finding it. was calling/texting and emailing the guy simultaneously...had to have it. sold off the rail and injectors for $100 so i'minto it for $350. got REALLY lucky.

I have 2" body lift and modified hood and fiberglass bubble. the highest point is the throttle body...

I have a couple Bronco 5.0 conversions.

1-Quick but not fast.
1975 with 1987 5.0 stock intake. It has more torque but less pull past 2000rpm.
33'tires 350 gears.

2-Quick and fast
1969 with 1989 mustang 5.0 H.O stock intake, E303 cam. Stock intake makes good torque and dyno is 230hp rear wheel. 33" tires 350 gears.

3- not so quick but pulls hard after 2500rpm.
1973 with 1990 H.O. Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 360hp kit, truck style intake. It's not as quick on torque. It pulls real hard above 2000 rpm though.
35" tires 411 gears.
