Found a nice donor today. Late 80's E350 with a 351 and EFI. Dont know anything about it yet as the owner was not there. Might be a intresting swap into the bronco. Swapped in carbed 351's before so thats nothing new. I'm familar with EFI just not Ford stuff. Any insight or things to look for? I would pretty much just strip out everything out of the van to keep this as low budget as possible.
What would be a good price for this engine with eveything? I would assume the engine would be core quality since its pretty old and hight miles.
Whats just the induction system worth? There is another engine just sitting in the back of the van as well....
Does anyone have any specs on this engine...hp torque injector size cam etc..

Check the mileage. If its low, it might be worth something. If its high, its worth as much as any tired old 351 Windsor. You can get the EFI stuff on that motor almost for free. The van EFI motors use the tall truck intake, so most folks swap them out for a GT-40 lower and a Cobra, GT-40 or Explorer upper. This means you would also need a car style single bore throttle body.

To use the engine as-is, you'll probably have to cut a hole in the hood, even if you have a body lift and a hood bubble.
