I am swapping in a crate 351W. Will my old 302 valve covers fit the new engine? Sure would help reduce the interference with the very tall valve covers. Thanks.

%) %) %) Stock yes they will fit. As was said if you have roller rockers you will need to eather buy spacers or get the tall valve covers. Good luck and have fun.%) %) %) Bill  ;D %)

>>> stud mount roller rockers pretty much always require taller valve covers ,but lots of the pedestal mount versions will clear shorter valve covers with slight mods to the inner baffles or grinding extra flashing on some of the aftermarket aluminum valve covers ..... a factory example is the 1993-1995 mustang cobras that came stock with Crane Cams roller rockers & short valve covers..................

My stock valve covers just slightly interfered with the roller rockers. I hace to cave in the baffles a little then all was fine. Been running 10 years that way
