Hello all,

I'm looking into the fuel injection conversion for my 351W and there's a local vehicle being parted that I think will work.

Questions: Is a 92 T-bird 5.0 a good donor vehicle?

What parts do I want...upper and lower intake, computer, fuel rails other?

Do I need the heads too?

I can probably get the set-up for a couple hundred bucks...the whole vehicle is parting for $500 altogether.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Lower intake won't work off of the 5.0, you'll need the adapter from BC to get the intakes to work together..

For the intakes, you've got three choices.
1. 5.8L Truck lower, BC Broncos adapter, and 5.0 car upper
2. Lightning/GT40 lower, and GT40/Explorer upper.
3. Aftermarket

You will also need a 5.8L EFI distributor.

Other than that, grab everything else off the 5.0. Manifolds, throttle body, MAF, air ducting, EEC, Barometric pressure sensor, Inertia switch, all three wiring harnesses (computer, injector, O2 sensor)

Also grab the serpentine front dress, including the timing chain cover. Got nothing to do with EFI, but while you're there... I'm pretty sure the T-bird front dress will fit!?
