Nope, got both of those on a shelf, different size ports and bolt patterns.

Thanks Tonto! saved me a few bucks, saw a 351w lower on ebay and just got the upper thought it might be a cheap way to go. Now I just have to research the lowers on the mustang sites I have heard that there are a bunch of aftermarket lower units out there just need to go dig em up.
Thanks Again!
Jerry
;D

In the long run I think you will spend almost the same amount of duckets on just getting the upper/lower GT-40/Cobra intakes, I to have heard of the lower you mentioned, it seems rare and that it was only made for a short while so I think it would probably cost a little more than the GT-40 351W lower and take a while to find one.
Why don't you ask on the Corral if anyone is running one and see if they know the history of them, I for one would be interested in who MFG. them and when and what they cost when new and now used. Later, Francois.
Just picked up an upper and lower 5.8 gt 40 on corral for about $250.00 the good stuff on corral moves pretty quick, but if you watch it comes through. I've also gotten other efi parts there at good prices.

Your options are as follows.

Trick flow upper and lower part # tfs-51500004 $550
Edelbroke performer upper with 351 lower. $600
Ford motorsports gt-40 upper and lower $600
There is also a spacer kit for 302 intake $200

You can find the gt-4o setup used at a reasonable price because the Mustang crowd is switching to the TFS setup. The best gt-40 upper is the one off the Ford explorer 5.0l. Good luck. Hope this helps
