If you are going with the Explorer setup (highly suggest - I'm rocking the Explorer front, PSC pump, Explorder radiator and Taurus fan) pull the balancer from the Explorer and send it to these guys - The Damper Dudes They can rebuild it and balance it to 28oz for ya
For what it's worth, I am running a 351W with the truck serp system, BC multi pump bracket with sag canned ham pump, Explorer radiator and Taurus 2 speed fan. It all works fine until I start climbing elevation, then the temp starts climbing and I have to pull over and let it idle back down to 200. My 351W is bored 10 over and only has 1500 miles on it so far. I am waiting to see if it runs a little cooler as the engine breaks in, if not that radiator is getting replaced. I bought a 1 inch body lift because I have heard that it may help with air flow and could solve my problem but I have installed it yet. Either way the passenger side long tube header is too close to my wife's feet for her comfort so it's getting installed.. : )
