3rd brake light in an EB cap

I found that a 3rd brake light from a 2000+ Ford Escape contours verry nicely in the EB cap. Run a wire all the way back to the brake switch, (but before the blinker) and your good to go!

Why not run a wire to the brake light wire at the taillight? it would be a shorter run.

Other than that, I wonder if my wife would mind if I stole the light from her escape...

Because it would blink when the turn signal is on.

Correct, it would blink. That's why ya have to tap in before the blinker.
