3rd Row Seat out of Suburban

I have been digging for options on a back seat for my Bronco. I have a perfectly functional original seat but would like something a little more user friendly if that makes any sense. I have two small children that are still in car/booster seats and will be for awhile so a shoulder seat belt is pretty much a must have.

I cam across the Bronco below on another website and really like the rear seat but how does it fit. It is supposed to be out of a later model suburban. It folds down, has integrated seat belts, and is easily removable, plus you can have under seat storage. We have a suburban (2008 model) with a similar seat but there is no way that it will fit as they have shown. The wheel well opening on the Bronco is 40" and the seat is 44" wide.

What am I missing? Was the Bronco widened? I know that it was stretched from reading up on the build but it doesn't look modified length wise and also the seat doesn't look cut down.

I don't know who's Bronco this is so if you know sorry for stealing pictures and posting them.

2nd look look at the gap between the tail of the bronco and where the wheel well begins... there should be about 4-6 in between.. there are also 2 cuts in them going up and down where they were streched.... i would have to say they must have been cut down a couple inches on each side when they were installed.

There should be 11 ribs running down the bed and the fenders sit on the edge of the next rib in both directions. These have definitly been narrowed by 3 or 4 inches on both sides.

Yeah the inner fenders do look like they where cut. It looks like he has full width axles by the look of it (or very off set wheels) so i dont think he needed the fender space.

Cutting the wells doesn't sound like an all that hard job. is it an option for you?

That would be an option if I was to go full width on the axles to ensure that the tires dont rub. That may be in the future one day but not right now.

I will probably just keep the stock seat and make do with it with a few minor upgrades.
