Is the kit linked above include all of that?

yes, LOKAR aca 1808, includes everything needed, just make sure you give it to the tranny shop while the tranny is overhauled. it replaces the stock arm lever with one that can be rotated in any position you need. I just had to remove the shift rod from the shift lever and replace as on pictures above

Sorry I didnt see this thread Marco- Thats the same kit I used but made a longer rod - thats the way to go

I started with this kit and converted it over to cable actuated vs the rod. My truck shifts as good as my new truck.

Old thread "steal"... ?

So my 4r70W is installed and needs the Lokar shift rod installed. Pan is off and after putting at least 75ftlbs of torque on the nut on the end of the shaft that the linkage connects to, I figured I'd back off before something broke... : (

ideas?

I know after removing the nut on the shaft (on the inside of the tranny) that the spring pin must be pulled.
