Alright guys,
I'm finishing up my 5.8l fuel injection. I need to know which radiator hoses work for the 5.8l and explorer serpentine/water pump setup. I also have a Ron Davis radiator with the suction(bottom port) of the radiator coming out of the bottom of the radiator on the drivers side (which is the same side as the water pump inlet for explorer water pump is on). I read the tech article for explorer serpentine setup and it said the stock mustang 5.0 hoses should work, but I bought those last night at auto zone for a 1993 mustang GT and they don't have the right bends. Can Someone tell me which Upper and lower hose to get??

Thanks
Luke

Maybe try the hoses for a '99-'01 explorer 5.0. That's what I run as they deleted the oil cooler thingamajig sometime in '98 so the '99-01 just has a single lower hose from the wp straight to the radiator on the driver's side.

I got a Duffs catalog just now with my new shocks and I see that they have the correct hoses for this application.

after staring at my bronco for a few hours and thinking about how to resolve this issue, i realized that the water neck coming off my 5.8L intake was the original 45degree water neck and was causing all sorts of issues. I ordered a 90degree water neck from summit and this should solve the problem for the upper hose (using a 93 mustang gt hose). The lower hose is going to have to be modified slightly in order to work, but i should be able to make it work as well. Thanks for the help guys.

Luke,

You back in town? I'm going through the same issue today trying to find the right hoses for my serp setup. Was gonna go to NAPA tomorrow for a 90 degree water neck but the drivers side still looks screwy. I have mustang hoses.
