Can't say I've used them. FYI '66,'67 are the same. '68-'77 are the same. If you have a '68 don't get the '66,'67 doors or door posts. The latches are at different heights.

Early '68s did have this style post. I've been trying to buy one that has them. The one I'm considering replacement on is a '67.

All doors will bolt up to the door posts, it's the striker post that is different.

Working on a 66 now. Have a set of later doors we are going to use. Found out quickly that the striker posts on the 66 are almost an inch higher than our later model rigs.

I replaced my driver side on my 1967 with that part and had no issues.

I'll be doing the same on the drivers side of a 66' soon, let me know which vendor you choose, and how the fit is.

I was looking at a Bronco that needed them, but decided to pass on it after discovering even more rust. So I won't be doing it anytime soon, sorry.

However, I am still curious of who has the best fitting door posts.

I was considering a '67, and it wasn't local. Did you buy the one from Guntersville?

Yes, will pick it up next week on the way home from vacation. It will be a project..........had too many good parts and original parts, it will need floors front and back, driver post. Recent over spray pretty bad. Bench seat needs new upholstery. Steel hard top, needs some attention but workable. All glass is original. It's got a few non 66' items on it. Ran and stopped great, electrical good. It's a mid Sept 65' build. Finally worked down to a price that was acceptable for us both.

Going to drive it for a while, wish it a 50th birthday in 3 months and then start tearing it down and hopefully make it look new again.

Sounds like a plan. Congrats on the purchase!

I am curious what early '68s had '66-'67 doors. My '68 was made in March of '68 and has the late style door latches.

I have never seen a '68 have '67 style doors originally. '66 doors are different from '67 doors.

What I said was some '68's had the '66-'67 style door posts.
