Just bought a 66 half cab off e-bay with soft doors. I already know that I am going to have to get some hard doors? My question, will any model year from 66-77 work or must I ONLY use 66 doors? Thanks

cool thing is you can unbolt the window frames and take them off!!! i have a 68 and they do the same thing. but 68 through 77 are interchangable

You can move the door latch or the striker plate to make later doors work but if you search around you should be able to find some 66/67 doors.

Personally I like the interior latch mechanism on the later doors better. Search around and you can find the instructions on how to make later doors fit on a 66/67.

I have 70ish doors on my '66 but I want to replace them, I prefer the handle to the paddle. I never did find out why the po replaced them but what I am finding I think he sold me a bill of goods. Live and learn%)
