I purchased a one owner 1966 in August. It’s a solid gem in the rough. It spent its time on a ranch in King City, Ca. This U15 rig was a January 1966 build. It’s a BUDD body bench seat with a bulkhead and rear seat delete.
My plan is to drop in a 351 with just over 400 ponies, a 6R80 transmission. As is with my 69’, this will remain uncut. As soon as I can figure out how to post some photos I will. It’s current condition is it’s completely apart. Body was media blasted and currently getting worked over. The frame is being powder coated. The motor is in my shop waiting to be installed. Hopefully by summer it will be under its own power. It’s going to be Caribbean Turquoise.

Sounds like a well thought out plan. I'm going to have to wait a couple more years for retirement before I get fully into mine. Mine will be the same Caribbean Turquoise so I'm looking forward to your pics. I'm leaning towards a saddle brown interior.
