This 66 just came into the shop. This truck is pretty original. Wondering if this rear view mirror is original issue. Anybody know? Mark in San Diego. Beach City Broncos

I'm sure you will get several responses, but I'll weigh in with my experience. That looks to be the same mirror on my very early 66 Roadster. Whether or not it was factory original, dealer installed, or simply a common mirror from that time period that ended up on several 66 Broncos is something I can't answer.

That was what was originally on my 66. When I bought from the previous owner who owned it for 47 years before I bought it. It was replaced with a glue on mirror. I thought the original had just a one screw until I removed the windshield and gasket...then I saw the other 2 holes. I was able to find a original 66 mirror to mount back.

I've seen those on a few 66's. That's a early 60's truck mirror. The 66's came with several different rearview mirrors from what I can tell. They were using up what they had left laying around. This one I have seen in several too.

I'll add one more variation.

That is actually the three hole mirror that I have, you can see the shadow from the "3rd hole".

Yea could be, there is a 2 hole version similar. The 3 hole like yours was originally in the 50's trucks.

I've seen at least 6 different Mirrors in 66's. My low mile 66 plow rig has a different early style ford mirror that mounts to one of the holes that hold the hard top on.🙄

That looks like one I had in a 66 half cab back when. I had thought it to be original.
