I payed 400 shipped and the seat was in pretty good shape. Had a small dent in bottom seat vinyl. To me the 66 seat design is just more asthetically pleasing along with the better looking less bulky arm rest. That and the fact it's 66 make it sky rocket in the price game

Wow that high for a seat.

From what I see on CL, their prices are a little high! I was curious to see what others chimed in w/. Is there anything funky or unique w/ a 66 rear seat or roadster rear seat? B/c if there is then $750-$1200 seems about right, look at these two rear seats (of course that's what they're asking, no telling if they're selling at that price)

There's a guy selling a plain ol' seat in Corpus Christi, TX for a couple of months now, $500  Looks like it needs foam, upholstery and I'm sure a general working over.

Then there's another guy selling a set of front and rears in Austin, TX for $450 %) and they are .....unique

The guy with the NOS one couldn't get $800 if I recall correctly. Probably $300-600 if someone really wants it and less when you won't ship or no one is looking at the time.

Silver upholstery to match the '66 front seats. Smaller 66/67 arm rests. Frame goes together in a different way in the front. Enough unique things to make it worth a lot more - like so many other unique '66 parts.

The two you posted pictures of are standard 68-77 rear seats. Neither are worth the asking price.

That's what I'd figured, it's amazing how many unique features were on the 66s.

Yup & agreed!

Wow! Didn't realize I had a treasure in storage. I have one that's still silver but the armrest padding is gone. Any offers?
