Light Parchment............... whether it was semi-gloss or gloss I don't know though.

Like anything with Ford production back then, it's probably possible that a very early '67 might have had an older '66 gray one left over used on it. Which might be where the info that '67's had them could have come from.

Or someone painted one 'cause they liked it and lots of people saw it.

There's a beautiful '76 on Craigslist right now (cheap too it looks to me from a distance anyway) that has '77 gas doors and the associated vertical side-marker lights.
Looks like a lot of effort was put into it (interior, paint and engine) but missing smog stuff so might be tough to register in CA. But if you live elsewhere, this might be a deal.
Would like to see it's VIN to see if it's really a '76 or a mis-labeled '77. Or just right at the cusp of the changeover.

I also thought 66 only the gray dash and silver seats.

Correct, Gray Poly dash with silver seats, unless it was a Pony Package which were usually late '66s.

Fueling the rumors!!! LOL Is there any definitive proof of a factory Pony Interior in a Bronco? There's strong circumstantial evidence but not sure I've seen absolute confirmation of this. I like the idea and I did a Pony Interior "tribute" build awhile back. Just curious if you have seen some documentation? Thanks.

Thanks! I don’t remember seeing that thread before. Pretty convincing.

Anytime!

I agree, like others I thought maybe it was a dealer option. But as unmolested as that Bronco was, I'd say all those different features were factory.

I remember seeing the thread, if there was just one sentence somewhere in some literature though. Any chance those broncos had the same build month, same colors or any other commonality besides the seats, etc?
