Putting new axles in this weekend. (Dana 44 & 9" from a '77 Bronco) and have to buy suspension kit.

Do I go stock or 2.5" lift? (picking kit up at WH)

Current tires 235\75\15 (I will keep rims & hub caps, but when these tires wear out replace with 31" tires)

Here are my pics. Stock, and then added 2" body lift (so we could fit the 5.0 and 6R80)

pics are in "my garage"

I really like Bronco77 blue bronco look:

Just answered your question on NorCalBroncos...

2.5" lift, 1 " body Lift, 31" BFG's on 15x7 rims.

Added a 1" block on the rear as the Springs began to sag with Hardtop weight.
Too late to return for warranty, so added a 1" block. Not my 1st choice, but
it worked.

BY THE WAY My 68 was purchased by DirtDonk, so you may see it popping up here on the site :)

Search the various lubr threads on here for all the pictures and information you need. .

My personal thoughts on lift tire combinations that look & perform best are:

2" and 30's

3.5" and 31's

4.5" and 33's

I've got the WH 2.5" SL and a 1" BL tires are 32x10x17" with 4.5" BS, seems to work pretty good for me.
