• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I'm detailing a nice 71 Bronco that will be available in about a week. It is a one owner with 49K original miles. It's a 302 3 speed Dana 44 with trac loc. The interior is nice, very, very minor rust. All of the exterior paint is original, except the passenger rear quarter. It is rare Raven Black. It includes the original 1971 title, window sticker, dealer invoice, buck tag, assembly line build sheet, owners manual, owners card, and some other stuff. VERY COOL paperwork!
I figure I'd bounce it off of the list before Ebay and Craigslist next week. Good mechanically, everything works, dash has old tapedeck installed, I'm going to put the original AM radio. It was ordered with the top, door panels and dash painted Raven Black also. The door panels and dash were painted Parchment later in life, but it is lifting off of the door panels. I'm putting a pair of new Black aftermarket door panels that look like the original Sport panels, with new Black door cups, and arm rests. All the original parts will be included with the Bronco. Only pictures for now.

Don't know? I bought it from the original owner's son. No sign of any real damage. The door striker, fender lip, tail light corner rear qtr seam are all fine.

More close ups. Of all the Broncos I have had over the years, this is only the second to still have the original "buck" tag intact.

Where did you find the build sheet and buck tag? Were they in the Bronco?
Maybe you can answer a question I have had for over 20 yeasr? Are there any Numbers on the core support behind the pass headlite? If so do the same numbers appear on the build sheet or buck tag?
I hope you can solve the mystery, Jack

I'll check out the numbers on my core support. They are there, and that is where the buck tag was wired originally.

Those numbers are probably the last four digits of your vin. I have seen this in several locations throughout on different Broncos. I have found them behind the dash, core support, & under hood etc. This must have been a coding system while coming down the assembly line.

I have found the vin# behind the dash too, but the core support # do not match the vin# on 2 of my Bronco's. I was thinking the Core # were on the build sheet somewhere?
