That was the first early bronco I ever drove. I took it for a test ride when it was for sale in La Mesa.

That is one of the coolest uses of the internet I've ever seen. Classic.

She was a complete mess when I test drove her; all over the road, power steering was weak, didn't stop very well. I think the kid who sold it to me was shocked when I pulled out a wad of cash. The whole time I was checking it out I was biting my lip to hide the excitement at having found my old Stroppe.

Thanks! As soon as I get my new front axles on (don't ask) I'm heading back to Colorado for another week. I really love it there. Gorgeous country and wonderful people.

Are you going to put in new wheather striping first;D Great story and pics, thanks for sharing:cool:

I almost bought it but it I thought it needed to much work. It was pretty fast but you couldn't stop the thing to save your life

Kutty, great photos! I've been shooting for 19yrs (for a living) and only 2 out of 9 photographers who work for me can shoot that well. Good Stuff. Do you make your living with your camera? Being able to inspire with photos is a great ability, and trust me, I'm inspired!

Thanks man, that's very flattering and I'm humbled. My background is in animation and film. I mostly earn my living in graphic design but do work as a photographer when the right jobs come along. I overshoot as much as possible, then go to town in photoshop. With the broncos and the mustang, I don't turn down too many jobs these days. :)
