I have the opportunity to purchase a 73 that is only good for a descent frame, drivetrain, 2 front seats, dented cap and a mostly intact dash with the radio cut out. but has not been started in approximately 20 years. Current owner purchased it for a project that was never started and is asking 10K. Any opinions on asking price? Located in central PA

Depends on how much salt the frame was exposed to when it was driven on the road, assuming it lived in PA. Also how long have you been looking for one? Not saying there’s not some merit to the price point but if it hasn’t been cranked in 20 years, there could be another $10K (or more) to get it back in shape. That’s just my 2 cents worth.

I am sure it has had its yearly dose of salt here in PA. I have only been looking for about 3 months now but it is slim pickings so far. I have been looking at listings on this site but it seems as though most listings are not current and most have apparently been sold, unless I am doing something wrong...
