So I bought the raybestos rebuild kit from summit. Needless to say this is not a fun job.

After completing the first one, I’ve discovered a problem. I think I have a rebuild kit for 11” drums, specific to the wire in the pic below. Can someone confirm? The cable should be tight, but it’s too long. The kit said “fit to 73 Bronco”.

I just did this today on a 74 with 10" drums. The cable on my 10" was definitely shorter than that when hooking to the shiny metal adjustment thing. Springs look correct in place.

Maybe I built it backwards. Mine didn’t have e-brajes so I’m adding all of that to it.

Is this the driver’s side? Note the location of the e-brake cable entryway.

If you have to buy parts for the 10” drums, I found them last time from Tom’s Bronco. Yes, the job is a pain, but I found it to be fairly straightforward when it was already mounted on axel. These pics are from a few years ago. Your wire is definitely too long.

For what its worth NAPA identifies the parts for 10" and 11" rear drums. Lets say you search brake adjuster kit for a 73 bronco you will get several items, two of them will be left and right kits for 10" brakes. make sure you read the features and specification sections. I went to Oreilly's when I did mine and they only carried an 11" set up. Look exactly like what you have going on in your picture.
