• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Hi all,
My search for a project has landed me here. I don’t know how to post a Facebook post but I’ll provide pics. For a 74 Bronco. It’s in North Dakota on the Facebook “Bronco Trading Post” group. The owner said that the frame is in good shape and he has a clean title. It shows a pic of the glovebox VIN plate (unreadable). Yet to confirm if the title matches the frame though. I live in Pa. The shipping will exceed 1000. I’m nervous about buying without seeing. Has anyone seen this in person? And if the owner is a member of the site that would be settling. Thanks for any and all replies. Take care.

Mike

Doesn't look like a 74 by the Dash. I would have expected to see power brakes and power steering as well. I hope someone closer to it can confirm the info for you. Good luck with your search!

Power brakes weren't optional until 76', power steering was optional in 73', auxiliary tanks were optional too after 5/66'. Agree the dash should have light bars, and I can't tell where the hazard switch is.

I believe the snorkle on the breather should go toward the fender and would have had a flex pipe to the core support???%)%) For a 74'!

I only received a quote on shipping so the bid had not gone through yet. With the thought of that increasing and the fact that I could not see the Bronco in person I ended up passing on the deal. The search continues for something more local.

That's probably a wise decision imo. The right one will come along. Have cash in hand and trailer at the ready :)

I'm with okie on this one, too many questions!! Take your time, the more you look at and learn, the better buyer you'll be!!;D;D;D

Thanks guys. Many many years ago I was just there when my first bronco landed in front of me. This time around I’m learning that patience is a virtue. You’re speaking my language. I’ve checked out Penske and U-Haul for one-way trailers. The difficult thing is competing with the larger companies that have blanketed all of the classifieds. The good thing is I work midnights so I check constantly and in the mornings I’m ready to pounce on a good deal. I’ll even talk to a buyer the night before drive down sleep in my truck until his or her earliest convenience. Now that I think of it Broncos are like concert tickets or that gaming console you buy for your kids around Christmas time.
