• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Somebody make me an offer.........;D

I think a lot of people realize that you have a very nice truck and have a lot of money invested, but with portfolios at 2005 levels and no end in sight, people really wouldn't want to hurt your feelings with what they could afford to spend on such a fine rig.

X2:-[. The money just ain't moving now & the folks w/ $$$ are being VERY cautious how they spend it.Most of us are selling stuff ,esp."toys" for ~1/2 of what it would've sold for about 3 years ago & 1/2 what it cost to build 'em. $21K w/o motor is pretty stout...(I hope you get it:cool:). Most of us(me included) are maxed out giving $10-15K for a(really) nice one, ready to go,in this economy.Good luck w/ the sale,Pierr.

That's why I was looking to trade my car for one, I figured if I have 18 invested and someone has close to that, it's just moving funds around and still having something new to play with; without taking a major loss.

A lot of guys aren't open to any trades though or even trades plus cash.

Like I said before, the green machine certainly is awesome, but 21 is a lot of money to have for play funds given the current economy. Not to say that there aren't some people out there with it, but it will take a lot longer to move or a slightly lower price or simply hanging on to her.

Hi gents, I agree with what has been said. Good time to buy, Bad time to sell. Just like the housing market.... My plan is to go ahead and pull the motor and put a stock 302 back in it. I'll try to get around 20K for it. I may just have to wait a while for the market to come back up, sooner or later.....;D

BTW, the color is stock

Amazing just how quickly modifications add up isn't it?

I was just talking to my friend the other day on how if I had left my '93 Mustang bone stock, I'd still be able to get every penny out of it since buying it ten years ago.

I too have pondered putting all of the stock hardware back on the car and keeping the engine for a Bronc instead.

Bump for you. I wish I could justify it but then I'd have nothing left to do. I'm deployed right now but if you ever need a hand working on your other bronco let me know, I'll be back in January time frame.
