Our second EB is home in the garage. The exterior is dark(er) brown and pale yellow. Dark brown interior steel with brown hounds tooth door panels and back seat. Front seats were replaced. Is there any place where that fabric is available? It was built in Phoenix, Arizona and has spent its life there. Ranger tag on the glove box door.
I believe the wife has claimed with it for her own:eek:. Therefore, it'll get fixed up mostly stock looking, but with balls. No more riding in the passenger seat for her.
It came with '90 5.0, 5.5" lift, C4, ARBs front and rear and 4.11 gears. The full size rear will be put back to oem width and front spacers removed. Most likely the only power train changes will be an AOD trans up grade and F150 steering box to control the 35" MTRs.
So back to the question about the availability of the brown hounds tooth fabric

X2 on Bronco Hut being the path of least resistance. Give yourself plenty of lead time for the order. Melissa is very pleasant to work with.

If you want to do some more leg work and use a local interior shop to make what you need then you can get the upholstery materials from SMS Auto Fabrics.
SMS Auto Fabrics
350 South Redwood St.
Canby, OR 97013
(503) 263-3535

www.smsautofabrics.com

Vinyl is about $55/yard
Fabric is $89/yard

SMS also sells carpet.

Thanks Mustang 2. SMS and I dealt with one another before. I had forgotten about them. Sometimes out of necessity. I ordered door oem panels for my 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 and it took almost a year to get them, then I had to threaten to write bad stuff on the net about them and then the panels weren't perfect (plastic chrome winkled). But you're right, they do have the ginger fabric. We want to use just the fabric to make inserts for the aftermarket front seats so they'll (somewhat) match, so they'll be helpful there. I learned long time ago not to throw "rocks" at a company for poor service, you never know when you'll need them again. I'll most likely go with the Hut for the oem stuff and SMS for the seat fabric to mod.
Thanks again to you, rmiller747. I appreciate the info both of you supplied.
