I ran a across a 4x4 pickup (owner thinks its a 76) that I can pull parts off of for cheap. What fits bronco? I see it has a HP front end with disc brakes. Are the radius arms longer or the same? Is the 4 spd and transfer case useable in a bronco? anything else like the steering box or column worth pulling?

Overall not a lot directly swaps over. radius arms are the same lenght. the dics brakes will swap over to a d44. If your lucky it may have the 4x4 power steering box. The transmission can be swapped if it has the np205 t case hooked to it.
Almost everything will require some type of mods to swap onto a bronco. It really depends on what your looking to do with your bronco and how much you want to modify things to do the swaps. looking to go full width then sure both axles are swapable as well.

OK I will grab the front end for the brakes if nothing else.the radious arms and the ps box incase i want to do a 4x4x2 someday. What 4spd would it have? T-18 or np435? will a dana 20 bolt up to the np205 adapter? Is the np205 a decent transfer case?

If it is an F-100 manual trans. it probably has a NP435 w/ the Dana 21. This tranny will have the desired square bolt pattern tail for use with a 6 cyl Bronco extension housing and a 1" thick machined adapter to mate up with your Dana 20. The Dana 21 transfer case can be used as a boat anchor (small boat) or door stop.
Not sure but headlights and tail lights may work too.

Thought the D21 was the single speed version of the D20, if so would be a bolt on.

Nope the D21 has a different bolt pattern. but If it is the NP435 with a D21 the transmission will work for a swap it has the correct 28 spline output shaft or at least mine did. thats the tranny I used in my NP435 swap but I dont think the D21 was offered after 72. you dont see it very often. 73 up usually had either the 203 or 205. Aslo t-18 transmission are commonly found as well makes no real differance in swapping its pretty similar to the np435.

All these responses are based on the assumption that it's a half ton truck. If it's a 3/4 or 1 ton, next to nothing will work from it.

It is a half ton, I am going to grab the stuff that might work for potetially putting the bronco i bought for parts back together. So if it has a np205, maybe thats not so bad. I might just go ahead and use the trans and TC like that. justin you sell all kinds of stuff what would you pull off it?

Ok I finally made it back to this truck today. Its a 76 F150 4x4. I can pick up the HP front end, radius arms. power steering box, NP435/205 TC all for $300. I think Im gonna go ahead and do it. don't need it for the bronco My son and I are building now. But if I decide to put my parts Bronco back together, I could probably use all of it.

Always keep on the lookout for a manual transmission tilt steering column in those old Ford trucks. They're super rare and cool.

If you're grabbing all that, you may as well grab the 9" as well at those prices. Even if you don't go full-width, you could use the center section if/when you upgrade to 31-spline axles.
