• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Looking for a later model body with surface rust/easy to repair rust. I've got a 76 that I've had for a while and ready for more restoration work. Most of the recent work I've done has all been mechanical and beginning to research if it would be less expensive to get a new tub than fix the rust underneath. Quarters, fenders, hood, roof are all in good shape on current truck. Would be willing to drive a few hours in any direction to look at options. Would prefer body only as I don't have room to keep a donor and slowly part out. Thanks!!;D

I would not be that specific on your search for the rare rust free tubs. There's not much difference between a 68 and 76. If you find a 69 thats rust-free or close to it then do so quick! Someone can jump in and add comments but one difference between a 68 and 76 can be the front core support. A 68 core support may be fitted with a 6 cyl and or manual steering, whereas the 76's core support is outfitted with with a bigger radiator opening for the v8 and notched for power steering. 66-67 have different door strikers but if it has great matching doors Id seriously look at that option as well.
A few yrs ago I bought an uncut 72 tub in really good shape. I will need to change out core supports as it will be transformed into a 77 tub. Only diff between a 77 and 76 is the flush gas door on the 77. Good luck in your sear.check, go to SC and you may get lucky!

Thank you for your advice. I am probably being to picky and am open to others. It would be my luck I would always order the wrong part in those instances there are differences. I did want to take most of the parts off my 76 and move them over. Just thought it would be easiest. I don't post much but look for advice all the time on this site. Everyone is always so helpful and I have learned a lot over the years! Thanks!!
