I dicided to start a thread of my build in hopes that it may help someone and document my build.

I got it on August 18, 2017 and have come along way in a year.
It’s a project that my 16 year old son is helping me with.

Day one:

Engine Start - This is the first time the Bronco has run since the 80’s...when it was last register.

Engine is all original, rebuilt carb and gaskets replaced.
I do not have an exhaust, manifolds only.

(Looks like I can’t or don’t know how to upload video file).

How did you get the pillars on correctly. It looks great ! many people have had problems with the fit up. Any sujjestions you can make? I will be tackling new pillars for my 1971 soon.

No suggestion other than what others have said - test fit and refit with screws before welding.
I fitted it with the door; used Duff’s removable hinges - this made a huge difference as I must of removed and installed the doors about 20 times. This was to get the gap and fitmet for the striker side.

Nice progress, and great color. Light and angle changes the depth of the shade - what color did you go with?

It a 76 Ford color, Light Blue Metallic (I believe Ford used it on Broncos) - at some point it changed names to Brook Blue.

A Bronco can make most any color look good, but that’s a really nice choice. Can’t wait to see yours all put together.
