With the disc swap and new lines I bought a new M/C. The F250 unit is supposed to work because of front disc/rear drum and the bore size is good.

Question is, the M/C is about 3/4" longer and it looks like the tube where the pushrod sits is about that much longer. Do I need to get a new pushrod? Or just cut a piece of steel 3/4" long and stick it in the tube?
Oh, and the cylinder the rod sits in is larger in diameter too... so my little pushrod is like a pencil thrown down the hall.

Local auto shops were of no help. Looked through a bunch of M/C kits and the ones that actually had pushrods were too short still.

I want to make sure I don't install it wonky and cause future problems with braking.

Thanks!
