• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I just picked up a 79 Bronco and wouldn't mind putting the factory white spoke rims back on it.

Seems like they are made of unobtanium now... Just thought I would ask here if anyone has a set they would want to sell.

I don't have a full set of the white spokes but I have an extra set (five) of the Free Wheeling package 10 hole mags like the red Bronco is wearing in the picture I'd sell.

Hey Doug. I just sent a text to a buddy that bought my 75. He is doing a frame off restomod and most likely will not use the wheels he has. They were powder coated white in good shape with good tires. I'll let you know what he says. Of shoot I didn't see the year. I think the 79 has a completely different offset.

I appreciate the offer of other rims 1sicbronconut, but would like to get the white spokes.

Here is a picture of the 79 I owned 30 some years ago. One of those wish I had never sold it...

Here are some pictures to identify the wheels that you are wanting .These are my favorite wheels for the 78-79 bronco they made a narrower version that were stamped steel and way lighter made these are welded steel as you can see in the picture very heavy duty and the black centers really make them pop imo.Hope this helps to ID what your looking for good luck.

One of the three white spokes I do have actually has an original 10-15 Goodyear AT-Tracker on it that's never been run!

That's going back in time...

Do you have the center caps for the three? As stated, shipping $$ is a concern these days.
My three aren't actually for sale, I'm looking for a couple myself to make a set of five for a future project.

Baja Brewer thanks for the link, I reached out to the Poster. Yes, he is asking top dollar and doesn't really want to ship them himself.

Copy that 1sicbronconut...

I was looking at this thread then went to Craigslist to look for Bronco stuff & this popped up. They are a little pricey but they also look like new! And as said before shipping may be a deal breaker.

That seems alittle high to me but if you brake it all out the whole package is probably worth 1500$ The black centers bring good money by them self's.Then the nos beauty rings are pretty valuable too could be sold to recoup some n money. And last of all the wheels if you get a old set like I did you have the cost of the wheel and then powder coat so your pretty close and it looks like you could just bolt theses on and ride just some food for thought.

I reached out to the Seller and we are having a discussion... He seems like a good guy and is a former Ford employee.
He has reduced the price and removed the Chrome rings and center pieces. Shipping is the next big question?

I had your same thoughts, the rims are made of "Unobtanium", They seem to be complete, and you are right that I could buy some crap and then have to blast, true, and powder coat them. So it is one of those decisions, buy something that needs work and have more money in it or just bite the bullet and pay a little more upfront.

Rims are on the way!
And as an added bonus, the Seller says do you need mirrors for your Rig? I have the recreational mirrors for towing, which do not lend them well to being off road. (I know this as I peeled one off my Dad's F350 back in the day) He offers them up and I said sure.
He was great to deal with and there was another bonus to this... I talked to my Buddy in Idaho about what would be the best way to ship these items (He is a Tremec Dealer) and he volunteers the use of his UPS # so I can save a few bucks.

That looks like a mirror from a later model rig - not sure if the mounting feet will fit your body curves correctly. Let me know if you don't as I think I still have an OEM dentside mounting bracket in my stock somewhere, along with the Ford drawings on how to install it :)
