Anyone know Timken parts numbers for ‘77 BB 28 spline bearing and seal set ? And I counted splines because always heard “3 holes” indicates 31 axle. I have done this repair with SB 28 sp but local parts chains can’t find a number on this set. But probably Sunday staff ! Thanks

Never heard that bit about the 3 holes. And apparently it's only true some of the time!
Yours did end up being 28 spline then?

The bearing number should be Timken 514003P and the seal is #51098
Those should cross over, but just in case the Perfect Circle/Victor/Dana bearing is #88128R and seal is #49150

Either of those should cross over, but most places will have the proper listing. It's only one choice for a '77 anyway, as long as they can find it.
