Need some pointersÂ… i like to avoid doing things twice if possible or avoid replacing parts if necessary Â… I currently doing prep work, wheels removed, vehicle on stands spraying down all related hardware to help on removal of bolts etcÂ… im thinking of starting on the rear leaf springs first one side at a time then move to front. Any suggestions on how to go about this and what unintended problems arose. Would like to hear about them.

P.s. surprised there are not any lift install vids on youtube

Rear work is fairly straightforward. If u-bolt nuts are giving you trouble, angle grinder and cutoff disk are your friend. Gonna replace them anyway. On to the front. My front arms… had to chain the back axle and frame to posts and winch the front axle forward to break the stock ‘C' bushings loose. This was on a ‘72 EB and the work was done in ‘80. It was a big old PITA to work on the front. Just saying some things go better than others.
