Aftermarket Tail light corners and chrome trim

I replaced my corners, now my lenses stick out 3/16" more than stock and the chrome won't fit. Anyone else have issues?

I had to trim the inside corners of the housing to get the light bucket to fit. My chrome trim has a lot of gap Between the trim and body. I haven’t pulled them back off yet to compare to the originals as I was planning on doing that when I’m wiring.

yup! I had all ready painted my truck to so I got them in as far as they would go and said good enough (w/ head shake involved)
