Air Intake and Carb Options

I believe it's the stock intake manifold from the 76 302 engine. It appears to have lots of extras for the smog set up that is no longer in use. There was also a cast iron egr between the intake and the carb. I'm not sure what the carb is as the PO put it on and it doesn't have a logo on it.

That intake is the EGR type and post '73 so the EGR hole is very difficult to block off because it's elongated. That's why I recommended a '72 and earlier intake with no EGR. That would be the only potential upgrade. The new looking carb should be a Motorcraft 2150. There are no new ones. If there is no Motorcraft cast in the top cover, it's a ChiCom knock off. If so you'll have to see if it works. I wouldn't buy one so I can't say, too many bad experiences with ChiCom crap.

Got everything cleaned up and back in, for the most part. Had to let the RTV sit for 24 hours and wont be able to get back to it until next weekend. Thanks for all the help!
