ok peeps, I'm neededing a quick havefta list of cost on gettin my bronco rollin. I've been bitching to the wife about a new truck, which she doesnt want to hear, so she suggest that I finish the bronco! ;) ...sucker!!! lol
(she played right into my hands on this one!) anyway, what are the absolute neccesities I will have to have that I'm not thinking of! here below is my short list.::::

1)paint
I figure around $400-500 should get me a coat of my favorite red!

2)wiring
centech + ryans EFI about $1000 according to my figures

3)body mounts
1" lift or maybe at the most 2" around $115 shipped

4)trans rebuild, adaptor, torque convertor $600 hopefuly at most

5) suspension lift
hopefully I can get by with a cheapy for now, can always upgrade (I'm talking about GOT TO HAVE for now! $500 ( I can get by with what I have so this figure can be ZERO if need be!!!) But I would like to have at least new stock shocks!

6)engine mounts (frame side)
$60

7)Exhaust
duals with stock exhaust manifolds, with flow masters around $400 max

8)fuel tank
mainly a large rear tank with straps etc...
EFI 23 gallon around $500 with pump, plumbing extra but it cant be to much more

9)brakes
$400 basically stock rebuild

10) Misc
seam sealer, primer, bolts/nuts, fluids, body filler, bedliner, tools etc....another $600 to $700

11) engine
gonna go with either my mustang engine for now, or buy a running (less than 100,000 miler from junkyard just to get the ball rolling for now) EFI crownvic motor or equiventlent. I can get (1) good used EFI 302 for around $350 running!and I have tons of EFI stuff laying around

12)

what else am I forgetting???? anything????
I can do the tailgate, doors, tops, new grille, suspension lifts with big fancy 11 leaf rear springs, radio, heater core, new quarter panel, fancy bumpers, winch, roll cages all later on..............I just want this puppy rollin!!!! I have an assortment of new bolts, fender washers, battery tray, headlight adjusters, side marker lights etc all new waiting in boxes.................is there anything I just have to have to make it roll????

I've even thought of using the stock 3speed manual to get it going then switch in the automatic...........not on a deadline but if I wanna get rolling, and you know me I get my mind set I need to move on it! ;D ;D ;D

suggestions please!!
thanks
Ben

I have the stuff we talked about out execpt the front springs. I can get them changed out before i put in the d44 if you are in a rush for it. I have your parts sitting in my garage. I was just waiting to put the 44 in before i sent it. Send me a pm or call and ill get it done.

I have you down for about $5000... not too shabby! I think that's pretty realistic since you can do all of the labor yourself. Don't forget your t-case rebuild, if it's needed? You may want to go ahead and add about $400-500 for front discs since it will be a daily driver. That means you can take off 1/2 of your $400 figure to rebuild your rear drums so you are only talking a net charge of $300 extra to have front discs!

the front disc are something I really want too, but I'll have to see. The transfer case probably needs a rebuild, but I may have to wait on that.

thats kewl flash, thanks man. Still not in a super big hurry but I better spend what I need to while the wife is game to do so, ya know!
