well, i have all the diagrams for the frame. but,....they dont do me any good! lol i have no tranny crossmember. i just have the frame brackets for the crossmember. all the diagrams show measurements from the crossmember. on MY diagram, i would like to get the measurements A and B on both sides. all the measurements i would like from the face and center of the crossmember mount as shown. on the motor mount bracket side, i would like the A measurement to the back face of the mount, parellel to the frame. on the B measurement on the motor mount bracket i just need the measurement to go to the center of the hole where the motor mount stud on the engine goes through. i hope im thorough enough on what i need. sorry guys, i just want to weld the motor mounts in once. lol thanks for your help! i want to burn them in tomorrow so i can get the frame off to powdercoat!

John

That measurement isn't possible because the Xmbr bracket is lower than the perch, so the tape measure would be bent. Also, it's not a round hole on the perch - it's an oval slot, so there's no specific point to measure to. 2 people would probably get different distances, and 1 would probably get a different distance each time.

And it doesn't matter. You already have the fore-aft location of the perch: 1/8" forward from the backs of the spring towers. It's designed to position itself up-down (resting on the frame), and L-R (against the inboard face), so it's locked in. Weld it & move on.

...or wait until you get a Xmbr, bolt it to the trans, bolt that to the block, bolt on the mounts & perches, and then weld the perches where they are.
