Aluminum heater core

My heater core blew up a few days ago and I need a new one. Saw an aluminum one on wildhorses, does it work any better? will it work with my radiator that is some sort of brass/copper?

Probably not noticeably better. Yes it will work with your stock radiator. I'd just get one at NAPA if you have one close by. I put one in when I upgraded the heater motor/fan. Got all the parts from the local parts stores.

I got the alum one from WH. It works! It was smaller than the copper one from JBG. Dont know if this matters much.
