does anyone know what model of Amp Research power steps will work for 79 bronco? I understand I will most likely need to make some brackets for the install but I do not know what model to start with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Chat" is for 66-77 Broncos so Admin will likely move this tread. You can ask this question in "Off Topic" where a few of us do have Dentside Broncos or go to FullSizeBronco.com and ask.

Sorry, I have no experience with AR power steps on a 79, so can't answer your question.

I don’t think member 904Bronco has done it to his 78 yet, but he might know some info. Otherwise as scoop mentioned, this forum is still basically for the “Early Bronco“ discussions.
In the “old” days, “classic“ meant strictly early Broncos only. Nowadays, 78 and 79 are certainly classics too! :)
Hmm, so Jon, now that we have both ends of the spectrum, what are we gonna do about the middle? You’ve got a new forum for 6G Broncos. Why not 2nd Gen also?
As if you didn’t have enough work, keeping us all in line! :)
